Memorial Day is a holiday to honor and remember those members of the Armed Forces who lost their lives while serving our great nation. The Palmetto Concert Band is pleased to present this Memorial Day performance as a means to honor those noblest service members who gave everything to defend our American freedoms.
This program will feature a new piece of music honoring those in Ukraine — soldiers and civilians alike — who have lost their lives defending their people, their country, and their nation’s sovereignty. We will also pay tribute and recognize to all of our veterans and celebrate our patriotic spirit during this concert.
This Memorial Day Concert will be presented at the Koger Center for the Arts on Monday, May 30, 2022 at 4:00 PM. As with all Palmetto Band concerts, this performance is free and open to the public.
