The Palmetto Concert Band is thrilled to announce an honor band clinic for middle school students, November 21-22, 2026. This exciting opportunity is in collaboration with PCB’s November Concert at the Koger Center for the Performing Arts. We invite middle school students from area Midland counties to participate. The selection process will be based on director nominations. After selection, participating students will submit a short video to assist in determining their part assignments. We aim to make this process user-friendly for both directors and their students. Edna Grace will serve as this year’s clinician.

Following their performance, participants are expected to stay and watch the PCB Concert.
Participant Fee
A $35.00, non-refundable participation fee per participant is required. Participant fees must be paid before the clinic and collected online via our Participant Registration Form, completed by parents/guardians of selected students. This fee helps offset costs related to event expenses, including clinician fees, two student meals (lunch and dinner), and a member t-shirt.
Director Information
PCB aims to adhere to recommended instrumentation for an All-State or Region Band.
At least five (5) students will be selected to participate from all participating schools, regardless of audition placement.

Student Nomination Form
Submitted by the band director.
Audition Video Submission Form
Submitted by the student or band director (on behalf of the student).
Student participants will submit a brief audition video no later than November 1, 2026, to be used for chair placements. Seating will be announced at the clinic or before via e-mail to participating directors. Please click here for a list of requirements for what should be recorded.
